Faith in Ourselves

A beautiful Muslim lady friend sent me this quote in an email "If God brings you to it, he will bring you through it". I feel blessed to have friends like her to remind me that life is for us all.

Choose Yourself

Change your definition of self and you change your reality! This has been the basis for the most wondrous shifts in my consciousness over the past weeks and I have come to see more and more that we can be, do and have our lives as we wish. In fact we already do, so if you choose to be alive then enhance that experience by agreeing to be that which you wish to be! Choose life, choose happiness, and choose the self you wish to be.

Winter Solstice

The passing of the darkness and the herald of the new has long been a reason to celebrate, to review and to forge new ways of being. So ~ Happy Winter Solstice and may your dreams of becoming who you truly wish to be manifest now. We bring back the light by identifying with it and claiming it to be so. Remember that if you are in the dark night the dawn is on it's way.

Happy Wesak Full Moon

This full moon is traditionally a major celebration of alignment and enlightenment and offers opportunity for people of all faiths to cooperate and take time to be in touch with their own spirituality.
My connection was sitting by the river this morning enjoying the light breeze and the clinking of the rigging on the sail boats. Ah this! I wish peace for all and am thankful for moments like these.

Open Day in Perth

For those interested the annual kinesiology open day for members and the public in Perth will be this Saturday 5th May at Wollaston College Centre Mt Claremont from 8.45 am until 4.30 pm. The speakers are varied in their kinesiology background and some very interesting topics are on offer. I am giving a demonstration of a 14 muscle balance early in day and my dear friend, Sylvia Marina will be there to ask the question "If there were one thing that would make a significant difference .....would you do it?" This will be an opportunity for old friends to reacquaint and new friendships to emerge.

Gathering of Women

When I was last writing my blog I knew that it wasn't quite me, if you know what I mean, in that so much was being vetted and denied in the effort to keep the flavour "right" and I realise that once again I am being called to throw conformity to the winds and be real. So for those of you who have started to read my blog for information on the magic of kinesiology we may just take a different road from here on until I backtrack again.

A colleague Darrell Brown who runs "Awakening Events" here in Perth, Australia sent me a Jean Houston youtube this morning on the subject of the gathering of women. When I watched the video clip I cried with joy as it affirmed my faith in what as a woman healer I am doing.

In it Jean spoke about increasing the depth and the beauty of who we are by focusing on four levels. The level of the sensory and physical, increasing awareness and keeping yourself in good shape. The psychological, the importance of listening to the stories and of being there richly and with compassion for each other. The mythical level, being willing as women to lead the world and our communities and families into new ways of being and ultimately the spiritual level and being mindful of that which keeps us our connected with the womb of all becoming.

Just magic and I am very grateful to everyone and everything that brought me to the place of being able to appreciate Jean's message. Thank you.

Getting to the heart of the matter

Kinesiology, the study of humans, and how they arrive at their potential is a fascinating and highly satisfactory way for me to be able to share my abilities as a healer.

Since learning the skill of accurate muscle monitoring in the early 90's, I find that the magic that is kinesiology, never ceases to amaze me with it's accuracy and ability to shine with laserlike precision to the heart of issues. Issues as varied as "what makes me tired?" to "what is my purpose?" respond equally well to the enquiring client and the skilled practitioner.

One of my passions as a kinesiologist is sharing the Touch For Health synthesis and to be able to pass on some of Dr John Thies' dream of spreading health to the general public through natural means. I invite you to participate in this dream and to learn about Touch For Health or to set a personal goal and use the assistance of kinesiology to further your potential.

Touch For Health

The Touch For Health course (which to me is the basis of kinesiology) was originally devised by John Thie using the techniques based on his work with fellow chiropractor George Goodheart and research by:
  • Kendall and Kendall, who used muscle testing methods
  • Chapman, who researched Neurolymphatic Reflexes see diagram on Matthew Thies' site
  • Bennett, who researched Neurovascular Reflexes.
To quote from JohnThie "I treasure the Touch For Health synthesis. I see it as a candle lighting the way to better health and living. And I believe each of us holds such a candle - perhaps as yet unlit - that can serve to guide those we cherish safely toward a more abundant life".
John has definitely enriched my life as kinesiology has now been my life's work for many years. In 1996 he wrote in my work manual "To Sahaja, may you love touch and heal with confidence and assurance" Such a gift from a truly compassionate man! He has now died and you can read more of his story here
